Julie Cliff – Co-opted Governor / Chair of Governors
I have been a governor at Cambridge Nursery School for over 20 years and I have overseen many changes including the planning and development of the Children’s Centre and the current building. I am a mum of three children all of whom have attended the nursery. My eldest daughter has cerebral palsy and it was very important that her time at nursery was happy so there was no other choice it had to be Cambridge Nursery. I currently work as a maths teacher in a secondary school so have extensive knowledge of the two ends of the school spectrum.
Cathy Taylor – Co-opted Governor - Vice Chair of Governors - Link Governor for Safeguarding / GDPR
My name is Cathy Taylor and I am community, safeguarding and well-being Governor. I became a Governor when working as Centre Manager of Cambridge Children’s Centre and when that role ceased I felt that I wanted to carry on supporting the children and families who attend the nursery. I continue to offer my spare time to youth work in the community . I'm currently working as a regional outreach manager.

Sam Crockford - Co-opted Governor
My name is Samantha Crockford and I have been a Primary School Teacher for many years. I am based on the Wirral where I teach mainly in KS1 and Early Years. I have two children aged 4 and 6. They attended such a supportive pre-school and nursery and this made such a difference to their confidence and wellbeing when they started at Primary. I am looking forward to getting to know the children, parents and staff at Cambridge Nursery School.

Catrin Size - Parent Governor - Link Governor for SEND
My name is Catrin Size and I am a Parent governor for Cambridge Nursery. I have 3 children, 2 of which have SEN, one of whom attends the nursery. I also work as a learning support assistant in a SEN high school. I am the link governor for SEND and wish to share my knowledge and understanding to support the nursery with its great inclusivity.
